While on the phone with my friend, AJ told me about this site that his brother Trent, it’s called Ashley Madison I think. He said that on this particular site it encourages married people to have an affair, which is so immoral and against the bible. I mean the bible states that thou shall not committee adultery, so why make a site that helps people do so, when there’s sites that do the same but isn’t so up front about it.

I found that so trashy, dirty, immoral, embarrassing and all out pure wrong. I would never, could never encourage a married man or woman to cheat on each other at any point, and although I’m totally against it I would tell them to get a divorce. Being true to yourself is the most important thing to keep in mind when you have been through a breakup. It is easy for us all to forget the truth of the situation when we are looking at it from a removed position. I have just had to help my sister come to terms with a difficult break up, and I saw firsthand how easily people change their views when all they can think is “I am desperate to get my ex back.”

I reality the question should be about whether it is the right thing to do or not. In my sister’s case, she had become so desperate to get back with her ex that she had forgotten the reasons why they had broken up in the first place. I told her to stop reading that trash and to think sensibly about what was best for her. I couldn’t bear for her to get back with him after the way he had treated her. It was clear that he didn’t really care about her, and she was blinded to this now, as she felt lonely and didn’t know what to do with herself. I know it’s not an easy thing to do, but walking away is sometimes the best thing. You need to stand up and say ‘I am worth more than this,’ get away from the relationship and move forward with your life.

There will be someone out there who will treat you the way you deserve, so be true to yourself and don’t settle for less.

Another example that would make me run far away would be a catch phrase like, “You’ll never find anyone as great as me!” Do you see what I mean about how your profile can influence other singles before they even look any further?
